ESFJs are the consuls of the MBTI world. Simply put, they are the ultimate diplomats. When compared with the enneagram of personality, some identify as ESFJ 3w2.

Type 3 is less common among ESFJs. The most common enneagram type for ESFJs is type 2. ESFJ 3w2s and ENFJ 3w2s share a lot of similar traits and functions.
The presence of type 3 changes some of the typical traits of the ESFJ, as we shall soon see. This personality type is more likely to be assertive than turbulent.

The core desire of the ESFJ 3w2 is to be successful and want to appear successful. They do whatever it takes to reach their goals.
What is the Core Fear of the ESFJ 3w2?
The core fear of the ESFJ 3w2 is to be a failure, and they go the extra mile to ensure this never happens.
How the 3w2 Changes the Natural Tendencies of the ESFJ
1.  Ambitious
Ambition comes easily to type 3s. ESFJ 3w2s also share this trait.
They want to be successful in their careers, at home, and in everything else. The only problem is their need for others to acknowledge their success.
This need might make them neglect minor but essential parts of their lives. These minor parts usually do not get them any recognition.
2.  More Charming
ESFJs are charming. ESFJ 3w2s take this to another level. Their extroverted feeling (Fe) function makes them people-oriented.
They are better communicators who genuinely listen to others. This quality adds to their charisma and charm. People who find themselves close to the ESFJ 3w2 usually feel heard and understood.
This charm propels them to success.
3.  Greater Work Ethic
Their goals and desires translate to a need for hard work. ESFJ 3w2 does not disappoint. They work extremely hard to keep up with their wishes.
This work ethic, combined with their judging function, can easily make them workaholics. However, it also almost guarantees success.
ESFJ 3w2s is one type that has cracked the self-discipline code.
4.  More Persuasive
Type 3s uses charm and networking to get ahead of the competition. ESFJ 3w2 is no different. They realize and understand the effects of soft power.
They can be highly persuasive when they need to be. Backed by their Fe, they can make anyone believe anything with enough effort.
This trait makes them effective debaters and attorneys.
5.  Better Leaders
ESFJ 3w2s make great leaders, and here’s why. First, they are great communicators, and they know how to balance being understanding and firm with others.
Because of their wing, this personality type is patient when teaching others. They truly yearn to help others.
Working with ESFJ 3w2s can be inspiring and fun. They have a good sense of what makes people tick, which is the gamechanger.
6.  Better Fashion Sense
Type 3 is interested in their self-image. They are interested in how people see them. This also affects their view on fashion and dressing. ESFJ 3w2s are similar.
They firmly believe that a good first impression starts with how you dress and appear. Thus, expect them to spend a good chunk of their money on shoes, clothes, and other accessories.
New Weaknesses of the ESFJ 3w2
1.  External Validation
One of the significant flaws of type 3 is their need to be validated by others. They need others to acknowledge their successes.
If this doesn’t happen, the feeling of success loses its value. ESFJ 3w2s have the same problem. Their need for external validation can wreck their self-esteem.
They need to realize that validation should come from within themselves. If you’re struggling with this problem, here’s an article that might help.
2.  Manipulative
Manipulation is not something this personality type does on a whim. However, it can happen for some reasons.
First, ESFJ 3w2s are in touch with their Fe. Fe allows them to understand people deeply. Type 3 wants to get ahead and be successful at all costs.
So, when they don’t seem to be winning, it’s easy for this personality type to tap into that superpower.
This can make them deceitful and untrustworthy. This shift can happen subconsciously or intentionally.
Being manipulative can also arise if they don’t get the validation they crave. Manipulation is prevalent with unhealthy ESFJ 3w2s.
3.  Can Lose Touch With their Self-identity
As earlier stated, being successful means a lot to this type. So, when they get a chance to network, they can adapt to make sure they impress the crowd.
While this is great for their career, it can slowly erode their values. When they have to play the same character repeatedly, ESFJ 3w2s can lose focus on who they are.
When they eventually have to drop the facade, they might have entirely lost touch with their values.
4.  Mild to Moderate People Pleasers
Type 2 wants to help people, and type 3 wants to keep up with their self-image. So, when ESFJ 3w2s try to help people, they create a reputation of being helpful.
The ESFJ 3w2 might believe this is good and wants to keep this new reputation. Soon enough, they might have other tasks that conflict with being helpful.
This personality type might choose to remain helpful even when it’s not convenient to keep up with their self-image.
This behavior is a form of people-pleasing. If their wing is strong, this problem becomes pronounced.

Hey, is taylor swift enfj, ivanka trump estj, aliana grande isfp,… it doesnt seem I can relate to those celebrities – esfj 2w3
Hello,
First, celebrity typing is a subjective exercise because most of these celebrities have never typed themselves. Also, just sharing an MBTI type with someone isn’t enough to relate to them. I see you’re an ESFJ 2w3. This means you are a dominant type 2. They are ESFJ 3w2 which means they have type 3 as their dominant type. So the way you approach decisions and other matters will be different.
However, celebrity typing is subjective. So, we cannot really tell for certain what type they are. We can only guess.
Thanks. You are friendly and your content is insighful.
I dont know what to debate, haha.
Have you met esfj 3w2 irl ? I still doubt other combos exist irl.
Also, I dont know if esfj can hold a management position in organization (my production company is traditional and dominanted by estj, no surprise. Their thinkings is simple: have a good degree, do more than 20 years and replace retirees, have parents back up,… haha)
Just curious do you know how esfj’ s careers intersect with other types like enfj, enfp, esfp, isfp…?
Hello,
One of my closest friends is an ESFJ 3w2. Another one is an ESFJ 6w7 and yet, another ESFJ 2w3. ESFJs bring a new perspective to the workplace. Just do you.
